Gilbert partners with Christchurch Football Club
GILBERT is proud to announce an historic partnership with the oldest New Zealand Rugby Football Club.
With 160 years of history to their name, the Christchurch Football Club will officially partner with GILBERT for 2023.
The partnership will result in GILBERT becoming the official balls, equipment and teamwear supplier for the organisation.
Both organisations have been part of the fabric of Rugby Union in New Zealand for over 150 years, with Christchurch having had more than 40 players selected for the All Blacks and Black Ferns during their history.
“GILBERT is extremely honoured to partner with such a well-respected and coveted organisation in Christchurch Football Club,” Head of Brands - Gilbert Clayton McErlane said.
“With an extensive history in producing players at the elite level and being involved in Rugby for longer than anyone else, this partnership was a no-brainer for our organisation and one that truly will be positive for all players involved at Christchurch Football Club.”
Christchurch Football Club President Jerry Rowberry said it was a historic partnership given the long history Gilbert has with Rugby.
